2Nature of Our Services
Our services are primarily digital and service-based in nature. Once work has commenced or deliverables have been provided, the time, resources, and expertise invested cannot be recovered. This significantly affects our ability to offer refunds in all circumstances.

3Deposits and Upfront Payments
A deposit of 50% is required before any project commences. This deposit covers the initial planning, research, and setup costs associated with your project.
Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, unless Valvanta Digital is unable to deliver the agreed scope of work.
4Eligibility for Refunds
You may be eligible for a full or partial refund under the following circumstances:
- You request a cancellation within 24 hours of payment, and no work has commenced.
- Valvanta Digital fails to deliver the agreed services within the agreed timeframe, without reasonable justification or prior communication.
- There is a demonstrable technical error resulting in a duplicate or incorrect charge.
- The services delivered materially differ from what was agreed upon in the written scope of work or proposal.
5Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
- Work has already commenced on your project or campaign.
- You change your mind about the direction of a project after work has begun.
- You fail to provide the necessary materials, access, or approvals required to complete the work, causing delays.
- Results from SEO, advertising, or social media campaigns do not meet personal expectations (digital marketing results are not guaranteed and depend on many external factors).
- You are dissatisfied with a final deliverable that was approved at an earlier stage of the revision process.
- Monthly retainer or subscription services where the service period has already begun.
6Monthly Retainer Services
For ongoing monthly services (such as SEO retainers, social media management, or advertising management), the following applies:
- Monthly fees are billed in advance and cover the work performed during that billing cycle.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted with 30 days written notice to support@valvantadigital.co.za.
- No refunds will be issued for a billing cycle that has already commenced.
- If you cancel mid-cycle, your service will continue until the end of the paid period.
7Revision and Dispute Process
Before requesting a refund, we strongly encourage you to raise your concerns directly with us. Most issues can be resolved through our revision process. Our standard projects include 3 rounds of revisions at no additional charge.

9Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method. Valvanta Digital is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
10South African Consumer Law
This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and other applicable South African legislation. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your statutory rights under South African law.
